What Makes A Good Coffee?

Award Winning Coffee

If you have ever tried an award winning coffee, you must have noticed a huge difference from all the others. The first thing that will hit your pallet, is how thick and heavy it is, and this is referred to as the body of the coffee. The acidity is the first tanginess that you feel once you sip on it. The next thing you notice is the flavor. Now, this is more a subjective thing because everybody has a different taste. However, it can be described anywhere from mil, to strong or rich. Something that goes hand in hand with the flavor is the aroma. This can again be different for all of us, but it is the accompanying taste that gives the coffee its uniqueness. Now also something that affects the taste is how much the coffee has been roasted. It can vary from light to medium and then dark. Of course, the darker it is, the stronger it will be, and the taste can vary as well. Any award winning coffee has to fulfill all of these to be considered tasty.

Although everyone likes something different, and everybody has different tastes, these are some of the characteristics of a high-quality cup of coffee. So try to recognize some of it, the next time you drink yours.
