This program will be held in Gainesville, Florida January 10-21, 2011. Our two week training program is directed primarily at utility regulators and staff from both regulatory agencies and utility companies, but we often have attendees who have a broader experience in the economic field.
If you wish to attend our January 2011 training program, please visit our web site www.purc.ufl.edu and complete the online application. You may also apply by completing the attached application form and returning it via email to purcecon@cba.ufl.edu or fax to 1-352-392-7796.
Please keep in mind that the application deadline is October 15, 2010 and we encourage all applicants to submit their applications as early as possible so that they have enough time to obtain an entry visa to the USA if needed, make travel arrangements, etc. We expect that this course will be fully attended so please be certain to meet all established deadlines in order to ensure your seat at this training program. Our Admissions Committee has already started the application review process.
PURC will also be presenting a one-day leadership workshop for emerging leaders in utility policy, Practicing Leadership in a Political Environment on Saturday, January 22 directly following the 29th PURC/WB International Training Program, to provide participants the opportunity to attend this additional workshop prior to departing from Gainesville, Florida. A special discounted registration fee of US $595 is in place for those participating in the 29th PURC/WB International Training Program.
