In December 2009 ERGEG launched a public consultation entitled "Draft Pilot Framework Guideline on Capacity Allocation on European Gas Transmission Networks".

This pilot framework guideline is based on ERGEG’s previous work on capacity allocation and congestion management. ERGEG welcomes responses from all interested parties by 26 February 2010.

Given the importance of this issue, a stakeholder workshop will be held on 02 February 2010 at Marriott Hotel, Brussels to review ERGEG’s proposals on CAM and CMP. The general structure of the workshop will be as follows:

• Presentation of ERGEG’s proposals on capacity allocation and congestion management
• DG Tren views on ERGEG’s proposals
• ENTSOG’s views on ERGEG’s proposals and presentation of its online survey on capacity allocation
• Stakeholder presentations, if requested

Stakeholders interested in participating in this workshop should submit their participation by filling in the on-line registration form no later than 26 January 2009.

Stakeholders will be given the opportunity to make a short presentation (maximum 10 minutes) of their organisation’s views on the ERGEG’s proposals. Please indicate your interest in making such a presentation when registering for the workshop.

A final workshop agenda will be published once the registration is completed.
